Sonny Gray strikes out nine in loss Wednesday

Sonny Gray (10-7) allowed three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out nine through six 1/3 innings in Wednesday’s 5-3 loss the the Mariners. He was charged with his seventh loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gray had a no-hitter going into the seventh, but plunked a batter, walked another and allowed a three-run blast to put a tough finish on an otherwise spectacular outing. He is sporting a 1.50 ERA and 0.95 WHIP in his last seven starts. His next scheduled start is Monday, away against the Cubs.
