Gerrit Cole reaches 300 strikeouts

Gerrit Cole (18-5) allowed two runs on six hits while striking out 10 though eight innings in the Astros 3-2 win over the Rangers. He picked up his 18th win of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Cole recorded his 300th strikeout of the season in the outing, making him the second-fastest to that mark. He has been of the top pitchers in fantasy, sporting a 2.56 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP with 302 strikeouts 200 1/3 innings this season. His next scheduled start is Tuesday, away against the Mariners.
