Brandon Woodruff (0-1) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out five in Friday’s 3-0 defeat to the Cubs. He earned his first loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Woodruff threw 85 pitches and induced seven swinging strikes. It was a solid outing for Woodruff, but it wasn’t enough as he received absolutely no run support Friday. The 27-year-old’s next scheduled start is Wednesday against the Pirates.
