Miami Marlins Rule 5 pick Andrew McKirahan threw 2 scoreless innings on Monday against the New York Mets, allowing 1 hit and striking out 2.
Fantasy Impact:
McKirahan has had a nice Spring, putting up a 2.57 ERA and showing he can get lefties and righties out alike. Facing a crowded bullpen situation and not able to be sent to the minors due to being a Rule 5 pick, the Marlins may elect to trade McKirahan instead of just giving him back to the Cubs. He'll likely be a LOOGY wherever he ends up and won't have much fantasy value outside of holds leagues.
