James Paxton (forearm) played catch on Monday, but Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the left-hander "could be an option towards the end of the postseason." (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Paxton was placed on the 45-day injured list in mid-September and played catch for the first time since. He will travel with the team throughout the playoffs, but could be available towards the end of the postseason. Paxton struggled in 2020, posting a (1-1) record along with a 6.64 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 26 strikeouts over 20 1/3 innings.
