Khris Davis went 1-for-3 with a solo blast in the A's 5-3 win over the White Sox in Game 2 of their Wild Card Series on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Davis was the odd man out in Oakland all year, only notching 85 at-bats in the shortened season. But he looked like his old self on Wednesday when he crushed a Dallas Keuchel offering over the wall in left center field. It was the designated hitter's only hit of the game but it proved to be a crucial insurance run as things got dicey in the eighth and ninth innings as the Sox staged a comeback that ultimately fell short.
