Carlos Ruiz goes without a hit against the Mets
by Kerry Kauffman | Tue, Apr 14th 10:42pm EDT
Carlos Ruiz, who had been swinging a hot bat, went 0-for-4 on Tuesday in the Phillies 6-5 loss to the New York Mets. Ruiz has a solid .400 on-base percentage but is still without an extra base hit and is batting .250 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz will continue to see the bulk of the action behind the plate, but likely will get a day or two off later this week. Expect Ruiz to continue to hit in the number five hole until further notice.
