David Buchanan

David Buchanan's control costs him another game

by Ryan Devine | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, Apr 15th 8:16pm EDT

David Buchanan failed to find a feel for the ball against the Mets surrendering 5 runs on 9 hits with 2 walks and 2 hit batsmen which resulted in retaliation from the Mets' Matt Harvey. Buchanan was also unable to escape the 5th inning, marking the second consecutive start in which he failed to do so.

Fantasy Impact:

Unfortunately for Buchanan, this game actually served as an improvement over his first out, although his ERA still sits at an astronomical 11.42. At this point, there is little reason to have Buchanan on your roster, let alone for you to start him against anyone. It would be best to avoid Buchanan until he logs a few strong starts in a row.
