Dustin May looks sharp in season-debut on Monday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Tue, Apr 6th 1:29am EDT

Dustin May picked up the win on Monday vs. the A's when he fired off six scoreless innings in the Dodgers 10-3 win. He allowed just two hits while striking out eight and walking two.

Fantasy Impact:

Not too shabby for the Dodgers' "fifth" starter. May kept the Oakland bats quiet all night, needing 85 pitches to get through his six frames. This was an encouraging start as May has struggled to miss bats early in his career; he put up a 19.6% strikeout rate in 2020. The 23-year-old hurler will look to build on this in his next turn against the Nationals at home.
