Cesar Valdez got four outs, allowing one hit and striking out one batter.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez was economical, throwing just nine pitches. He entered with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the eighth and allowed a single to Gio Urshela. Two runs scored on the single, but Aaron Judge was thrown out at third base. Then the umpires ruled incorrectly that Judge was tagged out before D.J. LeMahieu scored, and the Yankees were not allowed to challenge, and the umpires took a run off the board. Valdez allowed two hard-hit balls.
