Detroit right-hander Bryan Garcia allowed one unearned run in one inning of work in a 3-2 win over the Yankees on Friday. Garcia struck out two in the frame.
Fantasy Impact:
Garcia earned the win but he was in line for the loss after letting the Yankees take the lead during the top of the 10th inning. Robbie Grossman's two-run, walk-off homer got him off the hook. Garcia now has a 1-1 record, 4.50 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, two saves, and 17 strikeouts in 18 innings of work.
