Lance Lynn struggles in loss to Houston

by Brad Camara | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, Jun 20th 6:26am EDT

Chicago White Sox pitcher Lance Lynn (7-3) allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and one walk while striking six across four innings, taking the loss Saturday to the Astros.

Fantasy Impact:

Lynn, who had been excellent all season, had his worst and shortest start of the year. He allowed six runs (five earned) over four innings in Saturday’s loss. The 34-year-old struck out eight hitters and racked up his 1,500 career punchout on Saturday. He owns a 2.02 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and an 86:21 K: BB across 75 2/3 innings in 2021. Lynn will look for better results in a much favorable matchup against the Mariners next week.
