Phillies reliever Jose Alvarado allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk while striking out one over 1 1/3 innings of work to earn the save in Tuesday's win over the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarado made things interesting by allowing a two-run home run with a three-run lead, but he managed to escape with the save on Tuesday. The Philadelphia bullpen has really struggled of late, and the ninth-inning job is anyone's for the taking. Alvarado got the job done on Tuesday, but he wasn't exactly impressive while doing so.
