Jose Berrios being discussed in trade talks with Padres, Dodgers, others

The Minnesota Twins are discussing starting pitcher José Berríos in trade talks with multiple teams, including the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers, according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi. (Jon Morosi on Twitter )

Berrios is still just 27 years old and is under team control through the 2022 season, so the Twins could maximize their return if they decide to deal him now. It's shaping up to be a seller's market, and Minnesota will have no shortage of suitors for Berrios and other players, such as outfielder Byron Buxton. Through 20 starts this season, Berrios is 7-5 with a 3.48 ERA and 126 strikeouts over 121 2/3 innings.
