Fantasy Impact:
Mondesi exited Tuesday's game in the sixth inning with a knee injury that occurred when he turned quickly on a pickoff attempt. In 50 at-bats this year, he has slashed .140/.204/.344 with five stolen bases and three runs scored. Optimistic managers with IL room can stash him, but for those without space, he is droppable in all but the deepest redraft formats at this point. Some combination of Nicky Lopez, Hunter Dozier, and Whit Merrifield will now occupy the Royals' infield.
