Aaron Bummer takes loss vs. Royals

White Sox relief pitcher Aaron Bummer allowed three runs, one of which was earned, on a hit and two walks. He took the loss, falling to 0-1 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Bummer entered the game in the ninth inning in a tied ballgame. After getting the three outs unscathed, White Sox manager Tony La Russa decided to let him go back out for the 10th. That did not work, as he failed to get out of that inning. Chicago has now lost nine of their last 10 games, leaving Bummer useless in almost any league as a middle reliever.
