Corey Kluber allowed one run on one hit over six innings on Friday against the Twins. He struck out six and earned the win, moving to 1-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Kluber needed just 71 pitches to breeze through six innings, and the Rays were proactive about removing him before he could face the lineup for a third time. He had 11 whiffs and a 32% CSW rate, and mixed all four of his pitches beautifully. He's now down to a 3.05 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, and although the strikeouts aren't quite where fantasy managers want them to be, he's someone who needs to be in starting lineups regularly going forward. He will take on the A's in his next start.
