Giovanny Gallegos was unable to keep the Phillies in check in the ninth inning, allowing one run on two hits while also striking out one, picking up the loss in the Cardinals' 1-0 loss to the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Gallegos has allowed runs in three of his last six relief appearances for the Cardinals, blowing two save chances and picking up one loss in that span. The right-hander continues to get called upon in late-game situations for the Cardinals despite carrying a 1.06 WHIP and 3.27 ERA to go along with a 10.91 K/9 ratio and nine saves in 31 relief appearances this season.
