Nick Pivetta (elbow) is expected to be activated from the IL Wednesday and start against the Braves, per manager Alex Cora. (Gabrielle Starr on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Cora did add “if all goes well” to his comments about Pivetta starting on Wednesday. The veteran is expected to pitch in a bullpen session Sunday or Monday, which will likely be the final determining factor of if Pivetta is ready to return.
