Evan Longoria goes 2-for-4 in series finale against the Angels

by Mike Werner | Sun, May 8th 8:51pm EDT

Evan Longoria notched two singles in four at-bats in helping the Rays take all three games in the series over the Angels.

Fantasy Impact:

Longoria is from California and came into this series against the Angels with gaudy numbers in Angels Stadium for his career (.297/.368/.541 with six home runs, 19 RBI, and three stolen bases in 111 at-bats). Unfortunately for DFS players, Longoria couldn't deliver statistically like he had in prior years, going 2-for-12 with only one RBI. For the season, Longoria is hitting .237/.272/.432, but is still on pace for 25-plus home runs and 80-plus RBI. He'll look to get things back into gear when the Rays finish off their West Coast trip with a three-game set in Seattle, before hosting a series against the Athletics next Friday.
