Justin Morneau

Justin Morneau has his best game as a White Sox on Wednesday

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Thu, Jul 21st 12:57pm EDT

Justin Morneau is still shaking the rust off, but looked great on Wednesday. He had his best game hitting for the White Sox. Morneau finished 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. He also hit his first double of the year and drew two walks. Unfortunately, it was not enough as the White Sox lost in extra innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Is this the sign of things to come for Morneau? If you have the bench room add him. However, he is more likely in a wait and see mode. If he can return to form, he could be the bat the White Sox desperately need. Just remember he will be in a platoon split with Avisail Garcia and will typically sit against lefties.
