David Price allows four runs against Mariners
by John Aubin | Wed, Aug 3rd 5:14am EDT
David Price allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out five over seven innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
While it shows that Price gave up four runs, the bullpen has to shoulder some of the blame for that. Price had a shutout into the eighth inning, but ran into trouble and had the bullpen fall apart and blow the game when they came in. He is coming off of a dominant start last week against the Angels and had a 15-inning scoreless stretch going into the eighth inning on Tuesday. It looks like Price is turning a corner and pitching well again, making him a strong option down the stretch run.
