Tyrod Taylor (QB – BUF): vs. CLE
Sean’s Rank: QB5 | Consensus Rank: QB9
“Tyrod is in a fantastic spot this week against a Browns defense that has allowed multiple TDs to opposing QBs in all but 2 games this year. Look for his normal amount of rushing stats this week and both his pass/rush TD chances will increase this week as I expect the Bills to frequent the red zone more. His passing stats get a boost not only from the ideal matchup but also because Sammy Watkins seems to be improving each and every week which is a huge boost.”
Sean Koerner (STATS)

Derek Carr (QB – OAK): at SD
John’s Rank: QB5 | Consensus Rank: QB6
“It’s a rough week to rank quarterbacks; after the top four, it’s kind of a mess. But I like Carr’s home/road splits — he has actually averaged 2.0 TD and only 0.29 INT in 14 road games over the last two seasons (versus 1.87 and 0.93 in 15 home games) — and the fact that this game has the third-highest over/under of the week. It also doesn’t hurt that, in December with the weather around the country turning pretty ugly, the forecast in San Diego calls for 64 degrees and sunny skies.”
John Paulsen (4for4.com)

Bilal Powell (RB – NYJ): vs. MIA
John’s Rank: RB11 | Consensus Rank: RB16
“With Matt Forte sidelined last week, Powell racked up 179 total yards and two touchdowns on 34 touches against a woeful 49er defense. It looks like Forte will miss Week 15 with torn cartilage in his knee, so Powell figures to see 20-plus touches against the Dolphins, who have given up 4.8 YPC on the year. If Forte plays, Powell could still lead this backfield in touches.”
John Paulsen (4for4.com)

Tevin Coleman (RB – ATL): vs. SF
Scott’s Rank: RB8 | Consensus Rank: RB18
“The Falcons are facing the 49ers in Week 15 and they have allowed the most fantasy points to running backs this season, including the 2nd most in the last 2 weeks and 2nd most in the last 4 weeks. Last week when the Falcons blew out the Rams, the Falcons starters including Devonta Freeman were rested in the 4th quarter, resulting in Coleman out-touching Freeman. A similar game script is at hand this week, including Julio Jones missing his second consecutive game so perhaps another receiving touchdown is in order for Coleman.”
Scott Whitfield (Roto Rankings)

Jeremy Hill (RB – CIN): vs. PIT
Jake’s Rank: RB9 | Consensus Rank: RB15
Not only does Hill have 23 and 25 carries in the last two games with the backfield to himself, he’s catching passes as well. Over the last three games, Hill has 13 targets and 11 receptions, he’s scored in back-to-back games and the Steelers are much weaker against the run than the pass. They are allowing the fourth most FPPG to running backs and have given up 11 rushing touchdowns and the third most receiving yards to RBs.”

Mike Wallace (WR – BAL): vs. PHI
Sean’s Rank: WR25 | Consensus Rank: WR33
”The Eagles secondary has been shredded by speedsters like Wallace for several straight games now. Wallace has established a high floor by gaining over 50 receiving yards in 9 games straight. He is due for a bit of positive TD regression which could happen as soon as this week.”
Sean Koerner (STATS)

Jamison Crowder (WR – WAS): vs. CAR
Scott’s Rank: WR13 | Consensus Rank: WR19
“I like Crowder more this week because he is a slot receiver going up against 2016’s infamously struggling Carolina Panthers zone defense. The Redskins are a home favorite in a Vegas 50+ point over/under and Crowder is playing with my #2 ranked Week 15 QB, Kirk Cousins.”
Scott Whitfield (Roto Rankings)

Brandin Cooks (WR – NO): at ARI
Jason’s Rank: WR11 | Consensus Rank: RB17
If you sift through the drama and trade rumors and find yourself beyond this typical NOLA brouhaha, you’ll find a pretty talented wide receiver that Drew Brees is still trying to force the ball to. True, Cooks will be going against a generally solid pass defense, but never underestimate Brees’ propensity to not care about such things, averaging over 40 pass attempts his last four games.”

Andrew Luck (QB – IND): at MIN
Greg’s Rank: QB15 | Consensus Rank: QB10
The Vikings have yet to allow a top-10 fantasy finish to a quarterback this season. While Luck is certainly better than most fantasy quarterbacks, don’t bank on him to buck the trend. Donte Moncrief will sit out of this game, and Dwayne Allen‘s status is nebulous, although he did practice on Friday. Worst of all, the Colts just lost starting guard Jack Mewhort to injured reserve, making a bad offensive line situation even worse against Minnesota’s elite pass rush.”
Greg Smith (TwoQBs)

Doug Martin (RB – TB): at DAL
Scott’s Rank: RB27 | Consensus Rank: RB20
“The reason I like Martin less this week is twofold. For one, the Buccaneers are on the road against a very tough Dallas Cowboys defense that has given up the 4th fewest fantasy points to running backs this season and the 5th fewest in the last 4. If that wasn’t concerning enough, Charles Sims returned last week off IR for the first time since his Week 4 injury. With Jacquizz Rodgers in the mix as well, Martin can’t be trusted in your fantasy playoffs as any more than a low-end RB2 or flex option.”
Scott Whitfield (Roto Rankings)

Jordan Howard (RB – CHI): vs. GB
Greg’s Rank: RB18 | Consensus Rank: RB10
The Bears are big underdogs (underbears?) against the Packers this week, and my primary concern with Howard is potential for negative game script. If Green Bay jumps out to a sizeable lead, Chicago may not be able to run the ball as much as they’d like. I have Howard ranked as a starter at running back, but a conceivable lack of volume against Green Bay’s solid run defense puts him into RB2 territory for me.”
Greg Smith (TwoQBs)

LeGarrette Blount (RB – NE): at DEN
Jason’s Rank: RB17 | Consensus Rank: RB12
The always pun-friendly running back has already established himself as a top fantasy producer this season, but that could change this week in Denver. Going against a dominant pass defense, there’s no doubt Belichick and Brady, in a joint effort, will give high volume to their running game (which, to be fair, is something the Broncos have struggled against), but with Dion Lewis still being phased back in and James White still showing effectiveness, there could be a spreading out of said volume. I’m not as high on Blount as others, and I’m not saying Blount is ‘ganja have a bud day’, but what this blurb presupposes is, maybe he will?”
Jason Longfellow (Razzball)

Alshon Jeffery (WR – CHI): vs. GB
Pat’s Rank: WR34 | Consensus Rank: WR22
“A terrible season to date, four weeks of accumulated rust, no established chemistry with Matt Barkley, and subzero wind-chill temperatures along the shore of Lake Michigan — what exactly is there to like here? A matchup against the Green Bay pass defense? Capable border corner Damarious Randall is back from injury and will probably match up with Randall on most snaps, and in recent Bears-Packers games Green Bay has often given Jeffrey’s man safety help. The last time he played the Packers, Jeffery turned 11 targets into three catches for 33 yards. No thanks.”
Pat Fitzmaurice (The Football Girl)

Julian Edelman (WR – NE): at DEN
Pat’s Rank: WR31 | Consensus Rank: WR23
“A probable matchup with Chris Harris Jr. bodes ill for Edelman. Granted, Edelman has been bellying up to the all-you-can-eat target buffet in recent weeks, with 55 targets and 31 receptions over his last four games. But Edelman is the Jenny Craig of low-calorie receptions: He’s scored only two TDs this year and is averaging 10.0 yards per catch. It’s hard to believe that Edelman will fatten his stats against one of the best cornerbacks in the game.”
Pat Fitzmaurice (The Football Girl)

Jarvis Landry (WR – MIA): at NYJ
Jake’s Rank: WR42 | Consensus Rank:WR28
If we were talking PPR scoring, I’d have Landry higher, albeit not by much. Matt Moore is a deep-ball thrower. Back in 2011, Moore ranked inside the Top 5 for percent of throws of 20-plus yards. I look for Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker to see more opportunities than Landry due to Moore’s aggressiveness and the matchup. “
