Le’Veon Bell should stay red hot against Buffalo this weekend

Welcome to the Week 14 NFL FanDuel lineup article. This article will focus on the main slate on FanDuel which features 14 games. For the second week in a row, I think it is wise to spend up for two running backs. With that being said, let’s go ahead and take a look at my FanDuel cash game lineup for Week 14.

Quarterback

Andrew Luck (IND): $8,200 vs. HOU
Andrew Luck will probably be the chalky quarterback this week which is okay for cash games. Luck comes into this contest against the Texans in pretty good form with at least 260 passing yards and at least two passing touchdowns in each of his last two games. He is in a good spot to continue that trend in a matchup against the Texans, who he did well against back in Week 6.

Other Notables

Running Back

Le’Veon Bell (PIT): $9,000 at BUF
The last couple of weeks I have been on David Johnson for cash games. While he is always in play I would rather save the $700 and use Le’Veon Bell instead.

Over the past four weeks, Bell has had at least 130 yards in each game and he has scored a total of four touchdowns during that span. He should be able to continue his hot streak against the Bills, who have not been nearly as good against the run as they have in years’ past.

Ezekiel Elliott (DAL): $8,500 at NYG
Even though he is significantly cheaper than Bell and Johnson, I believe that Ezekiel Elliott will come in at lower ownership than those two. If that’s the case, I will gladly take the league’s leading rusher at lower ownership and a lower salary. Elliott has been absolutely amazing this season and there is no reason to believe he is going to slow down anytime soon, especially against the Giants who have likely lost Jason Pierre-Paul for the rest of the season.

Other Notables

Wide Receiver

Mike Evans (TB): $8,900 vs. NO
The Buccaneers were able to win against the Chargers in Week 13, despite Mike Evans having a pretty poor game. Evans only had three receptions for 38 yards since the Chargers did everything they could to stop him after Cecil Shorts and Adam Humphries went down with injuries. He should be able to bounce back against the Saints this week, who have been pretty terrible against the pass this season.

Emmanuel Sanders (DEN): $5,900 at TEN
The entire Broncos’ offense looked pretty dreadful with Paxton Lynch behind center against the Jaguars in Week 13. Luckily, it sounds like Trevor Siemian will be able to play this week, which bodes well for Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas

I’ll gladly take Sanders at $1,000 less than Thomas since he has been the preferred target this season for Trevor Siemian. He has an excellent matchup against the Titans this week, who have been pretty awful in the secondary this season.

Ted Ginn Jr. (CAR): $4,700 vs. SD
After scoring a touchdown in three straight games, Ted Ginn Jr. is a solid value option at this salary. He should be in another good spot against the Chargers since they will likely focus their efforts to stop Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen.

Other Notables

Tight End

Zach Ertz (PHI): $5,700 vs. WAS
Zach Ertz had a huge game against the Bengals last week reeling in nine of his team-high 15 receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. He has really established himself as one of Carson Wentz’s favorite targets over the past few weeks and he should be able to keep the momentum going this week in a solid matchup against the Redskins.

Other Notables

Kicker

Roberto Aguayo (TB): $4,500 vs. NO
Roberto Aguayo has been doing a lot better lately with at least two field goals in three out of his last four games. He should be in a great spot to kick some field goals this week in a great matchup against the Saints, who are not good defensively.

Other Notables

D/ST

Detroit Lions (DET): $4,600 vs. CHI
The Lions’ defense did a great job against the Saints in Week 13 and essentially shut Drew Brees down inside of the Superdome, which is not an easy thing to do. This week they have a much better matchup at home against the deplete Bears. There really is not a chalky defense this week, so this option can double down as a solid GPP option as well.
