Hump Day is upon us and so is a nice nine-game slate on FanDuel. There are some upper-echelon arms bunched together on a similar price point. Most of the more expensive arms are in good spots and solid favorites, but there’s one guy I like more than I should. There are also plenty of bats to choose from this Wednesday. I’ll go through my favorite plays at each position today to help you get over the hump…or at least beat the rake.

Pitcher
Jhoulys Chacin (MIL): $8,000 vs. San Diego
When it comes to facing right-handed pitching, all of the following statements are true. No team this year strikes out more than the Padres. No team has a worse team ISO this season that the Padres. There isn’t another team in MLB that sports a worse wOBA than the Padres. The only team with a worse wRC+ is Detroit. These are just the facts, San Diego is down right awful against RHP. Chacin (-191) will get a bit of a boost to his strikeout upside tonight and the Padres are without Wil Myers yet again. Even if he gives up a couple runs, I expect a quality start and the mighty Milwaukee bullpen to finish of the Fathers to get the win for him. He’s more of a GPP play, but I wouldn’t hate it if you played him in cash games.
