C.J. Cron struggles at the plate on Monday

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Tue, Apr 18th 9:32am EDT

The Angels have not been consistent at the plate this season (outside of Mike Trout) and it is why they find themselves two games below .500. C.J. Cron is a perfect example of inconsistency. Monday he went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. He also left four guys on base.

Fantasy Impact:

Cron is a solid fantasy player and should be owned in most leagues. His average fell below .300 for the first time this season, but he will look to bounce back on Tuesday against Joe Musgrove. At this point, Cron is only worth a bench spot with the occasional spot start depending on league format.
