The Angels won 2-1 over the Blue Jays on Monday. The team has been struggling to put up runs and this game was no different. Danny Espinosa did not help much. He was 0-for-2 with a walk. He also struck out once.
Fantasy Impact:
The Angels are averaging just over three runs a game. Only Mike Trout has been consistently performing offensively. Espinosa is not worth a look in fantasy. He's hitting .186 and hits eighth in the lineup. Nothing indicates his numbers will drastically change for the better. He is a career .225 hitter who can hit the occasional HR. He belongs in free agency.
