Whit Merrifield batted leadoff and hit a home run, his second of the season. He finished 1-for-5 with a run scored and one rbi in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Merrifield has been getting the majority of the starts at second base, since Raul Mondesi's demotion. Merrifield has not stepped up since being placed in the lineup. He is only hitting .214. Fantasy owners should not look here for any help for their teams.
