CC Sabathia shuts down Toronto

CC Sabathia allowed one run on five hits in 6 1/3 innings against the Blue Jays on Thursday. Sabathia struck out seven batters without a walk, opening June with a quality start. He has a 4.12 ERA this season and will face the Red Sox in New York on June 7.
Fantasy Impact:
Sabathia has now allowed two runs or fewer in four consecutive starts and has 16 strikeouts in his last two starts (12 2/3 innings). This comes after Sabathia allowed at least five runs in his previous three starts and saw his ERA balloon to 5.77 on May 9. Current Red Sox have a .657 OPS in 168 career at-bats against the left-hander, but Sabathia has a 6.17 ERA at home this season.
