Eric Thames went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts, two walks and a run scored during the Brewers' 9-6 win over the Phillies to open the second half of the season on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Thames has struck out eight times over his last four games. He struck out 37.1% of the time in June and saw his batting average plummet to .163 during that month. He is batting .292 through seven games in July but will need to cut down on the strikeouts to maintain that mark.
