Carlos Gomez finished 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the Rangers' loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez sent a six-pitch solo shot off Felix Hernandez 410 feet into deep center in the second inning as the Rangers would eventually go up 4-0 early. It wouldn't last. Gomez hasn't had a terrible season although his eight stolen bases is a bit of a let-down for fantasy owners, short-circuiting his appeal. He's slashing .252/.334/.467 with 14 home runs and 39 RBIs on the year.
