Gleyber Torres to begin 2018 in MLB?

Yankees GM Brian Cashman is not ruling out the possibility that top prospect Gleyber Torres could make the big league club out of Spring Training. (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's still likely that Torres begins the year in the minors, but this comment at least implies Torres could be in line for a quick promotion. The young shortstop underwent Tommy John surgery this past season, but hit .287/.383/.480 between Double-A and Triple-A before getting hurt. It remains to be seen what position he will play in the majors, but he's certainly a name to keep in mind this off-season and into the spring.
