Chicago Cubs manager Joe Madden says that first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) is scheduled to return "on time". (Mark Gonzales on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's unclear if this means Rizzo will be activated off the disabled list when first eligible on Monday, or if it just means things are progressing well. Either way it's good news for fantasy owners to hear. Rizzo is eligible at both first and second base in many formats, and should be one of the most valuable position players to own the remainder of 2018.
