Matt Joyce finished 1-for-3 with a pair of walks as the A's blasted the White Sox 10-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Joyce has been strangely forgettable as a table-setter for the potent A's lineup and yet has continued to lead off anyway. He somehow managed to get on base three times in this one and not score once in Oakland's 13-hit, 10-run parade. Even more unluckily, the bottom third of the lineup went 8-for-11 and he still emerged without an RBI. With a .235/.403/.431 triple slash, two home runs, four RBI and nothing to offer on the basepaths, he isn't really a fantasy option despite batting ahead of a pachyderm herd of big bats.
