Hyun-Jin Ryu looked solid against the Giants on Friday night. Ryu struck out seven, leaving the game in the sixth inning with a 4-2 lead. The Dodgers' bullpen blew it in the seventh inning.

This was another good performance from Ryu. He continues to get batters to swing and miss with a 11.2% swinging strike rate. His strikeout rate is up to 31.2% while owning a 2.22 ERA. Ryu will be tested next week on the road in Arizona.
