Joe Mauer (neck stiffness) placed on 10-day disabled list

Fantasy Impact:
Mauer hurt his neck last week, but aggravated it last night and was removed from the game. He apparently also had some balance issues and sensitivity to light last night, which could mean that he is suffering from a concussion. With Mauer's history, fantasy owners have a right to be concerned, but there's no reason to jump to conclusions just yet. For now, expect a relatively short stay on the DL for Mauer and hope for the best.
