Mike Leake allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits while striking out three over 6 2/3 innings in Oakland on Tuesday night.
Fantasy Impact:
In one of his best starts of the season, Leake was not extremely deceptive, only generating three swings-and-misses, while allowing fewer than two earned runs for the first time this season. Despite this quality start, Leake still has a 5.46 ERA with a 1.46 WHIP and .293 opponent AVG over 10 starts this season. While Leake could get your fantasy team points here and there, it will be difficult to confidently start him on a regular basis.
