Marcus Stroman dealing with a blister issue

by John Aubin | Yankees Correspondent | Sat, Aug 18th 6:31am EDT

Marcus Stroman allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two across four innings as he didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Yankees. Following the game, it was revealed that a blister on his pitching hand had flared up, which could require a trip to the disabled list, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Stroman will likely be reevaluated in a few days to see if a trip to the disabled list is necessary. Either way fantasy owners should be moving on from Stroman who now has a 5.27 ERA and 1.44 WHIP on the year.
