Christian Yelich hits homer run number 19 in loss
by Brad Richter | Brewers Correspondent | Sun, Aug 19th 9:40am EDT
Christian Yelich went 1-for-4 with his lone hit coming via the long ball with a solo home run in the eighth inning during the Brewers 7-2 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
The home run was the 19th of the season for Yelich leaving him just two home runs shy of his career-high mark (21) set in 2016. Yelich has cooled off some from his hot streak following the All-Star break but he has now strung together at least one hit in five straight games as the Brewers conclude their series with the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
