Byron Buxton leaves game with facial contusion

Byron Buxton was removed from Friday's game versus the Red Sox after colliding with Xander Bogaerts on the basepaths. (Dan Hayes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Twins announced he was removed from the game due to a facial contusion and that he is day-to-day. Buxton didn't appear to be in much pain after the incident so it's possible the Twins are just playing it safe with their young outfielder. We'll know more tomorrow most likely.
