Braves starter Mike Soroka allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings in a win over the Padres on Monday. The win brings him to 2-1 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Soroka is now 2-1 with a 1.62 ERA and 21 strikeouts over his first three starts and seems to have locked down his spot in the starting rotation. The only worry with Soroka is an innings limit that could come into effect in the second half of the season, but the Braves have enough starters to stretch things out a bit if they need to. Either way, enjoy his run of success now and deal with a potential innings limit later.
