Brendan Rodgers was hit in the head by a pitch playing for Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday night. (Minor League Baseball on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers left the game but was able to walk off under his own power. He sat out Sunday but it sounds as if he avoided a serious injury. Rodgers is one of the best hitting prospects in the minors right now, hitting .333 with a .993 OPS and seven homers in 33 games. He could debut with the Rockies over the summer if Garrett Hampson and Ryan McMahon continue to struggle as the team's primary second basemen.
