Matt Carpenter crushes pinch-hit homer Thursday

Matt Carpenter went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit, solo home run in the Cardinals' 5-3 win over the Phillies on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter seems to be emerging from his early season slump, at least to some degree, as he has a .218/.332/.391 triple slash on the year. Five of his eight homers have come in May, and his OPS is more than 40 points in May compared to April. Carpenter should be able to recover and produce at a high level, but it's unlikely he'll replicate last year's numbers.
