John Gant improves to 5-0 Thursday

John Gant picked up his fifth win in relief in the Cardinals' 3-1 win over the Reds on Thursday. He fired one and a third perfect innings with a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
Gant has been dominant out of the pen for St. Louis, and now has a 1.10 ERA on the year. His .149 BABIP and 100% LOB rate both indicate some rather good fortune on Gant's part, but he still seems to have made some strides as a reliever. He is likely next in line for saves should Jordan Hicks falter.
