Stroman told TSN's Scott Mitchell the Blue Jays might skip his scheduled start Thursday against the Boston Red Sox as he recovers from a pec injury suffered in his previous outing. (Scott Mitchell on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It was thought that Stroman wouldn't miss a turn after injuring his pec last Saturday, but the Blue Jays are reportedly having second thoughts; with the All-Star break coming up next week, the extra rest could do Stroman some good. The right-hander is 5-9 with a 3.18 ERA and 81 strikeouts over 104 2/3 innings on the season.
