Mets starter Jason Vargas allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings in Wednesday's win over the Minnesota Twins. The win brings him to 4-5 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Vargas now has a 4.25 ERA on the season to go with 68 strikeouts over 82 2/3 innings. He bounced back nicely on Wednesday after allowing six earned runs in his last start, but his fantasy value is mostly limited to deeper NL leagues at this point.
