Taylor Trammell traded to Padres

by Mike Maher | Yankees Correspondent | Tue, Jul 30th 10:36pm EDT

Top prospect outfielder Taylor Trammell is headed from the Reds organization to the San Diego Padres in a blockbuster three-way deal that also saw Trevor Bauer traded to the Reds and Yasiel Puig, Franmil Reyes, and Logan Allen traded to the Cleveland Indians. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Trammel is one of baseball's top prospects, though he is having a down year in Double-A this season. Through 93 games this year, he is batting .236 with 47 runs scored, six home runs, 33 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases. He is highly unlikely to see time with the big league squad this season but is an attractive candidate in dynasty leagues, especially now that he has landed on a San Diego team that is loading up on young talent.
