Chris Sale recorded 12 strikeouts and gave up five runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings during Tuesday's 10-inning win at Cleveland. He didn't factor in the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Sale has struck out 25 batters over his last two starts. But overall the lefty has had a disappointing season with a 6-11 record and a 4.40 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 218/37 K/BB ratio across 25 starts. Sale has a nice matchup in his next start against the Orioles and fantasy owners should be starting Sale.
