Fantasy Impact:
It’s a shocking move considering how dominant Treinen was just a season ago. He struggled in 2019 but it’s still surprising the A’s weren’t able to find a trade partner for him. We expect him to be a popular commodity in the free agent market moving forward. He could wind up as someone’s primary closer come 2020.
