by Brendan Tuma | Yankees Correspondent | Tue, Feb 4th 9:52pm EST

Jeff Passan of ESPN confirms the Red Sox have acquired Alex Verdugo from the Dodgers as part of the Mookie Betts trade. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Dodgers wind up with Betts and starter David Price. The Red Sox get Verdugo and Twins prospect Brusdar Graterol. Meanwhile Minnesota lands Kenta Maeda as part of this three team deal. This trade likely helps Verdugo from a fantasy perspective as he'll get regular playing time in Boston. In 2019 the 23-year-old hit .294 with an .817 OPS, 12 homers, and four steals in 343 at bats.
